When you pick up your trailer

Licensing

If you're from out of state and are not subject to sales tax, please provide a valid driver's license and a recent utility bill from the same address.

Ball size & height

Trailers with a load capacity of 6,000 lbs or less use a 2" ball.

Trailers with a load capacity of 7,000 lbs or more use a 2 5/16" ball

Approximate ball height (from top of ball to ground):

14" wheels: 23-25"

15" wheels: 24-27"

16" wheels: 25-29"

To set an accurate ball height, measure with trailer frame level.

Electrical connection

For trailers equipped with surge brakes, you will need a 5 flat connector. If your vehicle has a 7 round connector, you will need a 7 to 5 adaptor which we can provide upon request.

For trailers equipped with electric brakes (EOH), you will need a 7 round connector.
